The Scarecrow Festival - hosted by our Chamber of Commerce, this annual event starts with a parade at 9:00a.m. and features music, entertainment, old west gun fight re-enactment, vendors, food, games, rides and live shows, all taking place on our town square through out the day until 5:00p.m.  For more information contact Judy Mayes at the Chamber at 972-932-3118.

Outdoor Movie Night - The first in this series will be on Halloween!  Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and join us for a thriller - the original "The Blob" at dusk, on the new lawn at our downtown park - corner of Grove and 987. Bring someone to hold on to...

It's A Wonderful Life in Kaufman Christmas Event - hosted by the Downtown Kaufman Association and made possible by many local sponsors, this 2nd annual Holiday event starts at 11:00a.m. with the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Claus in a horse drawn carriage and features photos with Santa through out the day, story time and craft time with Mrs. Claus; horse & carriage rides, performances, dancers, food, an art show and a quilt show and much more..... an outdoor showing of the classic Christmas movie, "It's a Wonderful Life", will be the grand finale to a fun family day.  For more information on this event contact Debra Lalumia at 972-932-0112.
